91 North to Brattleboro, VT, Route 9 East to Keene.
West Street exit, turn right.
Or from Northfield, MA, Route 10 North to Keene,
West Street exit, turn right.

From points north:
Routes 9/10/12 south to West Street exit, turn left.

From points east:
Route 101 West (becomes Routes 9/10/12) to West Street exit, turn right.

From points west:
Route 9 East to Keene. West Street exit, turn right.

Colony House is located on the corner of West Street and School Street (see map above).

The Colony House is a landmark in downtown Keene, only a block from historic Main Street. Shops, restaurants, parks, a theatre featuring live events and films, museums, and the Colony Mill Marketplace are all within easy walking distance. Keene’s self-guided walking tour is a wonderful way to see and experience an extraordinary mix of historic architecture and to learn a bit about the area’s history. Lakes and rivers, golf courses, ski areas, hiking trails, parks, country roads, antique shops and picturesque New England villages are all close by.
